Note: This Position is intended for remote location out of the city "Oil Rigs" Job Title: Commis, B& I and Remote Sites Reports To: Head Ched, B& I and Remote Sites Segment: Catering & Facilities Division: B& I and Remote Sites Grade: S2 Years and Nature of Experience: Must have previous 2-3 Years experience in cooking and restaurant cooking Qualifications: High School / Field Training Certificate English Level: Read, Write, Speak Job Purpose Statement: Cleans food preparation areas as determined by company policy. Prepares foods to the specifications of the client and recipe cards. Prepares food before the arrival of guests. Adjusts food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns. To obtain the highest possible standards of food quality, presentation and service using great knowledge and skill. To be at all times courteous and polite, and to observe the standards of etiquette by the establishment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Must have strong and friendly personality • Good background • Creative and enjoy doing practical work • Able to read labels and instructions • Interested in cookery and food production. • Manual dexterity and ability to work under pressure • Ability to work as part of a team and to maintain the pace of production is required • An orientation to detail and the ability to quickly understand facts are required • Basic computer skills Training qualification Your CV should be accompanied by all copies of your academic, technical, and working experience certificates.
